Adventure Cook Islands is a local dive center, situated in front of Aroa Beach on the south-west coast of Rarotonga, in the Cook Islands. Specialized in small groups and personalized supervision, it offers half-day two-tank dives, leisure and technical training (PADI, SSI, TDI, SDI) as well as a complete infrastructure for rebreather divers (CCR).
Rarotonga is not a destination for large pelagics, but its preserved coral reefs, hundreds of tropical fish species, and clear waters make it a discreet gem of the South Pacific. Here, quality takes precedence over quantity โ and dives often sell out. Book in advance.

My husband and two teen sons signed up for an introductory dive with Sandy. They had a fantastic time. Sandy was kind and patient, explaining all of the dive details and equipment. The dive happened directly across the street from the shop and it all felt very safe and controlled. The boys had a great time and left feeling confident with their new skills and knowledge. Thanks Sandy!!

I just completed my PADI Open Water certification. Huge thanks to the team: Patrick for his organisation, thoroughness and prompt responses. Gary for a good chat and laugh (oh yeah, and the boat rides). And most of all Sandy for her dive expertise. She's a patient and calm teacher. Highly recommended. Meitaki ma'ata!

Enjoyed seeing lots of healthy coral, listening to the whales (only saw them from the boat but heard them while diving), and beautiful marine life during 2 different days of diving with Patrick and Gary. Booking and communicating with Patrick before the visit was quick and easy. Appreciated the small group and had no issues with my rental equipment. The last dive was a bit of a let down after being talked up: we were told there was a 99% chance to see a school of eagle rays after swimming through a cave and apparently we joined the 1% that day... not a ray in sight. Obviously out of the control of the guide, but there wasn't a whole lot more to see when rest of the dive was in the same area as the first dive that day.

I recently completed my PADI Open Water certification with Adventure Cook Islands, and I couldnโt have asked for a better experience. Sandy was a fantastic instructor - detail-oriented, patient, and always calm and reassuring. Her clear guidance made me feel confident and well prepared throughout the course. I feel incredibly fortunate to have completed my certification in such a beautiful part of the world, supported by such a professional and welcoming team. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Adventure Cook Islands. I was absolutely lucky managing to book last minute trip and a refresher dive course with them. Patrick was so responsive and helpful over emails and made it really easy to book trips. Refresher dive course with Marina was great! She is so knowledgeable and helped me to get confident before the dive trip and calm my nerves after I havenโt dived in a year. Rutaki Passage was beautiful! We were lucky with the weather, the sea was warm and calm. Saw lots of fish and even turtles. Highly recommend choosing these guys, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable to make your dive safe and fun. - Olga, New Zealand
