We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Maldives (Meedhupparu), during which we had the pleasure of diving with an amazing Divepoint dive school and its fantastic staff. From day one, we felt in the best of hands: the staff were professional, friendly and truly passionate about the ocean and diving. My wife always struggles a bit with clearing her mask and my daughter (12y) had never gone diving before, so they both needed special attention. The school provided us with the perfect instructor: Roman, who is from Germany. As a teacher himself, he has an excellent understanding of his students' needs. With patience and sensitivity, he helped our daughter to overcome her initial excitement and guided her through her first dives, including a night dive. She enjoyed it so much that she didn't want to stop until we left the island. I always look at the Setup of Dive School and this was organised to perfection, from the boat and equipment to the briefings (5of5Stars). Tip top! :) Every dive was a highlight, with manta rays, colourful reefs and crystal-clear water simply unforgettable. Thank you so much to the entire team for your warmth and professionalism, and for making this holiday such a special experience. We will definitely be back!

I was very impressed with the Divepoint team. I did 7 excellent dives with them most booked in advance. This was a second trip to the Maldives and the dives didn't disappoint. I am a Dive Master but borrowed all my equipment and the equipment was new / well looked after. Trips and briefings were well organised and the team were flexible to my plans and took the time to highlight what was coming up in terms of plans. The only slight comment as my wife doesn't dive I had booked 6 morning dives in advance I wasn't made aware that there was a "shake down dive" needed to check my skills, and that could only be done in the afternoon. Good safety plan and helped me get my weights correct on those aluminium tanks but it would have been good to know in advance. Special thanks to Shakoor who had enough weight to get me down and who entertains us all with blowing "air rings" on the safety stops. To Dasha for a great dive on big and little Thira (? Don't have my logbook to hand) just turn the current down next time please! To Andy (?) the site leader for a great last dive and hopefully I returned the favour by spotting the turtle and keeping his 100 percent record. I hope to be back next year and dive again.
