Elite Diving is a highly rated, award-winning British dive center located in Sharm El Sheikh, in the Red Sea.
Specializing in daily boat trips for certified divers, as well as courses ranging from beginner level up to Instructor level, right in the heart of the world-renowned coral reefs of Sharm and South Sinai.
The center also organizes liveaboard diving safaris.
Elite Diving is a family-run business, led by the Evans family.
Alun Evans founded the company in 2005 and is supported by his wife Moyra and their son G, all of whom are divers themselves.
G worked part-time in the family business before joining the team full-time in 2014.
He is now the dive center manager and leads a highly efficient and experienced team, several members of which have been part of Elite Diving for many years.
Angie, administrative manager, has worked at Elite Diving since January 2015.
Hossam, technical manager, has been part of the team since 2011.

We can offer you almost any hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Depending on your personal preferences, we often recommend staying at hotels close to our dive center so you can join our team and other divers for relaxing moments after diving. Our region has a wide range of hotels, from budget properties to all-inclusive 5-star hotels, but we'll pick you up from any hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Safety information:
The first thing to know for anyone wishing to dive in Egypt is that it's mandatory to fill out a medical form before being allowed to dive.
Anyone who has tested positive for Covid within the last three months and experienced respiratory issues is strongly encouraged to get a chest scan before diving again, to check for any after-effects that could cause problems underwater.
If you tested positive more than three months ago, or within the last three months with no respiratory symptoms, it is recommended to obtain a letter from your doctor confirming, after checking your breathing, that you are fit to dive.
This medical check can also be carried out locally with the world-renowned hyperbaric doctors at the Sharm Hyperbaric Facility. The consultation costs around 35 € (or equivalent).
Please carefully review the attached medical form to check that you have no contraindications to diving. Any "YES" answer requires a medical examination and a signed and stamped fitness-to-dive certificate from a doctor.
NB: If students give one or more "YES" answers without a valid medical certificate, this may delay training or prevent it from being completed. An on-site medical check-up costs around 35 € and requires an extra day to obtain the certificate.
Other activities offered by the center:

Opening days and annual closure:
The dive center is open to the public every day of the week from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The only annual closure day is January 1st (New Year's Day). Every other day, the center is operational and offers dives.
Good to know – additional notes:
It is mandatory to carry your passport with you every day on board the boat, as it may be checked by the coast guard before leaving the dock.
If you haven't dived in the last twelve months, a refresher dive is required. This can be carried out from our boat at the same site as originally planned. It includes a review of safety procedures, basic skills exercises, and a short questionnaire.

You can be sure you are in safe hands and the professionalism is second to none. G heads up the boat and it runs so smoothly and the team in the office make booking and arranging accommodation so easy. We had a fabulous weeks diving with Elite. Thank you to all of the team and amazing dive guides (Jenny, Hoss, Sonny & lastly but definitely not least, Sam). The organisation - from booking the trip, diving and leaving was all first class and all taken care of by Angie in the office. Any questions prior to going were completely answered. The airport transfers were seamless. We were transported daily to and from the hotel for the days diving. From the first minute of our holiday the Elite experience shone through - the guides were very friendly, put you at ease and when you get to know them they are very entertaining (in particular the Dunraven 'performance briefing') but always the ultimate professionals underwater. The briefings were always delivered with safety in mind and they always found interesting things to point out during the dives. The boat is excellent, offering plenty of space for kit and relaxing between dives. The social activities are second to none. You are encouraged to join the team and other guests for drinks in the Champions Bar after the days diving. We are planning our return trip which will definitely become annual. And we’ll be wearing our new hoodies and T-shirts with great memories, whilst highly recommending club mates to get the Elite experience.

Amazing experience from start to finish. As a solo traveler I felt they really cared about my comfort and total experience. I took my first breathes of Nitrox ( thanks Jenny for giving a quick refresher as my course was some time ago) I completed by Deep cert . Had an amazing day with the team out of Sharm. A perfect experience with a really professional dive school. I took my 11yr old for his first diving experience and he was in great hands. My wife dived with them the day prior too and she loved it. I felt really comfortable with Gee and Jenny, they really looked after my lad and put him at ease. The diving was superb as you'd expect for the Red Sea, but it's the hospitality and professionalism that really made it.
