Established in Saint-Leu for more than 30 years, Excelsus is an iconic dive centre on the west coast of Réunion Island.
Building on this long experience, our team puts all its passion and expertise into helping you discover the underwater world of Réunion, at the heart of the Réunion Marine Nature Reserve, a protected area of exceptional richness.
We offer a wide range of activities suited to all levels:
introductory dives, beginner sessions, guided or independent exploration dives, as well as guided snorkelling trips, ideal for observing wildlife and coral with ease.
Whether you are a beginner, a certified diver or simply curious, every outing is designed as a unique experience, tailored to your wishes and your level.
We offer certifying "Marine Life" Biology courses (ANMP) over a weekend, as well as observation, survey and awareness dives in partnership with the REEF CHECK organisation.

Safety information:
Contraindications to diving are: asthma, epilepsy, pregnancy. The activity is reserved for people over 8 years old. A document regarding medical contraindications will be provided to you individually.
Réunion has a decompression chamber located at the CHU of Saint-Pierre. All our teams are duly trained to assist you if needed, on land as well as on or under the water.
Other activities offered by the centre:
We offer group, guided snorkelling trips (with briefing) lasting around one hour along the coral reef, within the Marine Nature Reserve. "Whales and marine wildlife" trips are also organised during whale season (May to October).
Opening days and annual closure:
The centre is open every day of the year, except for 25 December and 1 January.
Bring your swimsuit, towel and certification cards. It is recommended to have a vehicle to reach the centre and then the harbour. If this is not the case, please let us know so we can arrange to meet you directly at the harbour.
