Freedom Diving is a 5 star scuba diving centre, welcoming guests of all abilities and experience levels.
We offer courses and experiences from complete beginner 'taster' sessions and youth programmes, all the way to professional training and Tec diving. Obtain your Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, or Specialty qualifications from our experienced and friendly Instructors.
We also offer guided diving for those who hold appropriate diving certifications. We have packages available for multi-day diving with or without equipment rental. Let our experienced local guides show you the best that Scotland has to offer by guiding you around some of the most spectacular dive sites and pointing out the abundant aquatic life, such as catsharks, skates and rays, conger eels, crustaceans including crabs, lobster, shrimp and langoustine, many fish varieties like wrasse, pollock, scorpion fish, flatfish, and pipefish, some cool-water nudibranchs, as well as the occasional cephalopod such as octopus and cuttlefish. The anemones, plumose, sea squirts, coral and sponges are equally as beautiful and exciting to see.

Safety information:
We use dry suits to dive all year round in Scotland. You must hold a dry suit certification in order to dive with us (or be willing to complete the 1-day dry suit course).

My boyfriend and I were drysuit certified and it was an amazing experience! Lucy communicated so well with me and made it an easy experience to schedule from a different country. James was our instructor and he was funny and a great instructor! Everyone was so kind and helpful with arranging everything from equipment to which dive worked best. We were also very late for the dive due to a site mixup on my end and they were so nice to work with us to still be able to be certified. I recommend one thousand percent and will use them again!
