The Green Turtle Diving Center has been established on the island of Santo Antão since 2014.
Formerly known as Blue Eden Dive Center, the centre now has a new identity and a new image.
Since turtles are the symbol of the Cape Verde archipelago, and Santo Antão is one of the islands where they come to nest, it felt natural to choose this name and this logo.
A string of unforgettable experiences awaits.
The chance to come face to face with a manta ray, or even an impressive yet peaceful whale shark, is very real on Santo Antão, considered one of the best islands for diving in Cape Verde.
Nurse sharks, one of the few shark species able to stay motionless without suffocating, are frequent companions at most of our sites.
They offer endless opportunities for photographers, but also for any diver who has already felt the thrill of being just centimetres from such a majestic creature, a true apex predator.
The biodiversity is so rich and abundant that it often feels like diving into a giant aquarium, entirely surrounded by movement and colour,
where every moment is unique and simply indescribable.

We did four dives with Ricardo. All of them were unique and special. We saw sharks, turtles, rays, and many many fish! On our way to the dive spots we even saw dolphins and a whale. I spent a few days diving with Ricardo and his team and had the best diving experience of my life. We saw a very big diversity of marine life including turtles, yellowfin tuna, rays, moray eels, amberjack, nursesharks, dolphins and huge schools of fish. The underwater world of Santo Antao has amazing structures and coral reefs and there is always a surprise when diving! On my last dive we encountered a juvenile humpback whale who was curious about us divers - this is a once in a million dive and I am very grateful to have had this unique experience with Green Turtle Diving Center.
