From initial emailed questions answered promptly by Farid, prompt pick up from the cruise ship dock on dive day and bi lingual briefings in French & English, all the guys at Hemisphere are professional. First trip out to the west reef where black tip sharks were already circling the boat waiting to entertain us. I saw the most amount of fish for a long time, the reef and environment looked very healthy. Back to the shop for the interval then second dive on the Nordby wreck. Despite being sunk for 126 years, it was in good condition. Very easy swim through even for those without wreck qualifications or experience. Even a chamber of (stale) air you can pop up into. The whole trip was well organised from start to finish, well worth diving with Hemisphere when you're in Raiatea.

A massive thank you to the Hemisphere Crew yesterday for our first diving experience ! They provided all the equipment and gave a thorough training before getting in the water. Our 3 children (14, 13 and 10 year old) absolutely loved it and felt safe. At all times, the divers were watching us and helped us if we had any issues. There were 3 divers for a group of 6. They took us to a beautiful spot. We saw many different kinds of fish and sea cucumbers (funny looking creatures). The crew had a great humour (à la française 😉) ! They made us laugh from the first second we arrived. Great vibe 🤙 Special shout out to Axel who had to hold my hand the whole time !! He took great care of me. I had ear decompression issues and had to go back up several times. He made sure I was Ok and showed me how to help decompress. After several attempts, I was able to catch up with the group and enjoy the experience. Thanks to his patience and careness 🙏

Hemisphere Sub was very responsive, and made booking a full day of ocean exploring easy. I would absolutely recommend this dive shop! We booked a 2 tank dive in the morning, and a whale watching tour in the afternoon (Blue Dream Xperience) for our free day on Raiatea. I speak no functional French, but was able to book online through IG. It had been years since my husband and I dove, but Hemisphere Sub took us out and gave the full dive experience. The first dive was Teavapiti Pass, a great drift dive with the most fish I've seen at once. The second dive was Miri Miri where we got to dive with countless blacktip reef sharks. We could also hear humpback whales singing out at sea. In the pass to Miri Miri, the dive boat did a few extra laps and we enjoyed dolphins playing in the boat wake. The variety of sea life from the two dive trips was incredible!
