I spent a few days diving and getting my advanced open water certification with Himmafushi Scuba Adventure. The team were absolutely brilliant, special shout out to Zoa who I done most of my dives with. She was very attentive and knowledgeable which made me feel at ease in the water. Also the rest of the instructors, owners and boat crew were lovely making it fun to dive with them. The equipment was the newest and best maintained I’ve come across - they put safety at the heart of their diving and it really shows. Cannot recommend diving here enough - also they were the most reasonably priced shop I dived with in the Maldives.

As a solo traveler, I’ve dived all over the world… but Himmafushi Scuba Adventure has officially raised the bar so high I’m not sure any other dive center will ever compare! From the moment I reached out, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless. They even secured my lodging at their wonderful partner, Keveli Guesthouse, making my arrival on the island effortless and stress-free. And then… THE DIVING. Oh. My. God. The diving. On my first afternoon, I hopped in for a single warm-up dive — and it was already mind-blowing. The next morning’s two-tank adventure took things to a whole new level. We explored HP Reef and Himmafushi Corner, two sites that easily rank among the most spectacular I’ve ever experienced. Highlights: • Graceful white-tip reef sharks cruising effortlessly through the blue • More sea turtles than I’ve ever seen on a single trip • Endless clouds of colorful reef fish • Pristine coral formations and electric-blue water that felt like a dream It was the kind of underwater magic you hope for your whole life as a diver. But what truly sets this shop apart is their impeccable, caring, deeply professional service. Every staff member made me feel safe, supported, and completely taken care of — from gear setup to dive briefings to personalized recommendations. Special shout out to Melanie! They even helped me secure DAN Diver Insurance, which ended up being an incredible value and gave me total peace of mind. This is a dive center that doesn’t just run trips — they curate unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned diver, Himmafushi Scuba Adventure is the place you want to be. The quality, the warmth, the professionalism, the jaw-dropping underwater world… everything is five-star perfection. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Cannot recommend highly enough. Had a great time diving with Himmafushi Scuba Adventure and ended up doing 12+ dives with them. The crew was awesome—super professional and easy to dive with—and all the gear was well maintained and in great shape. They’re one of the better-known dive companies around Malé, and I loved that we never repeated the same dive site. I’ve already booked round two in February.
