Situé sur la plage du Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, Ia Ora Diving est un centre PADI 5 Star Dive Resort à taille humaine, reconnu pour la qualité de son encadrement, ses plongées en petits groupes et son approche professionnelle et responsable de la plongée sous-marine.
Les plongées d’exploration ont lieu le matin en océan, sur les sites emblématiques de Moorea :
tombants spectaculaires, passes dynamiques, récifs riches en vie, raies, tortues, requins et, en saison, rencontres avec les baleines à bosse.
La présence permanente d’un capitaine dédié et d’une sécurité surface permet d’explorer les passes et les sites plus engagés dans des conditions optimales de sécurité, de confort et de fluidité en surface.
Les baptêmes et formations PADI se déroulent l’après-midi dans le lagon, un environnement idéal pour l’apprentissage et la découverte en douceur.
Notre équipe multilingue (français / anglais) privilégie un encadrement attentif et personnalisé, avec des groupes volontairement limités, afin d’adapter chaque plongée au niveau, au rythme et aux attentes de chacun.
Engagé dans une démarche de plongée responsable, sans nourrissage, Ia Ora Diving collabore avec des acteurs locaux de la protection et de la recherche scientifique.

We are located directly on the beach of the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, offering immediate access to the dive center from the hotel. Divers staying on site benefit from a high-end setting and particularly comfortable logistics, with the boat departing from the beach.

Safety information :
A defibrillator is available within the Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort premises, and the nearest decompression chamber is located in Tahiti, with evacuation procedures planned in case of need.
Other activities offered by the centre :
In addition to scuba diving, we offer freediving activities with PADI Freediver training, AIDA, as well as whale-watching excursions in season, in accordance with regulations and animal welfare.
Opening and annual closure days :
We are open every day of the year, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, except for December 25 and January 1.

Great experience with Ia Ora Na Diving! Located inside the Sofitel grouds, you'll find the staff here are incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. A quick tip: highly recommend showing up a bit early so you can grab a coffee at the Sofitel’s beach bar right next door. Perfect way to start the morning before heading out on the boat. Great diving experience with Ia Ora diving. They are located inside the Sofitel hotel, right on the beach. Maybe 100 steps to the boat on the floating pier, and they carry the tanks, regulators and BCDs, which is fantastic. The crew is friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
