Great experience with Prime Scuba Ishigaki. We went diving with two friends who had just passed their Open Water certification, and the team took great care of them from start to finish. Our divemaster, Mike, was probably one of the best DMs we’ve ever had 😊 calm, professional, helpful, and really made everyone feel comfortable. We had a great time, saw mantas and plenty of other cool marine life. The whole staff were friendly, the equipment was in great condition, and overall it was a super fun and well-organised dive experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience diving with Prime Scuba! Our dive instructor Soji was such a calming presence and really made us feel comfortable even though we haven’t dived extensively. The dives we we went on were amazing too, we saw so many things including a Manta ray. The food served on the boat was also so yummy! They even provided photos at the end for free.

The best dive experience you could ask for, the price even includes photos (I know unheard of!!)- these are some of the most special underwater photos you will ever have! We spent so long researching which company to use (as we have only dived once before) and we are so glad we chose this company. From start to finish, incredible communication, friendly staff and a great experience. Our instructor Soji calmed our nerves and was so patient with us but also gave us the confidence to enjoy the experience, swimming by his side, instead of holding on the whole time. Both as beginner divers we couldn't have asked for more and now because of this we have signed up to get qualified! Thank you all for such a great day.

Varo, my instructor, made my PADI Open Water Diver certification at this excellent shop in Ishigaki one of the best diving experiences I’ve had. He was outstanding — highly professional, smart, and genuinely funny. Coming from Spain, Varo brought great energy and explained everything clearly and efficiently, helping me sharpen my skills quickly while keeping the course relaxed and enjoyable. His perfect mix of expertise and good humor made every session fun and memorable. Jeremy and Mike were also fantastic — they provided super nice and helpful support on the boat, making the dives smooth and stress-free. The whole team was welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about diving. Beyond the top-quality training, I met wonderful people and made good friends during the course — this shop has a fantastic community vibe. The equipment was excellent, and the dives in Ishigaki’s stunning waters were spectacular. I saw mantas, along with vibrant coral and colourful fish everywhere.
