I’ve been diving with the Red Sea Diving College for more than 20 years, and in my experience they are simply the best. We’ve also spent time aboard their fantastic liveaboard, VIP ONE, run by the legendary Hooch, a true character, incredibly capable, and an all-round great guy. The crew on VIP ONE are, without doubt, among the finest in the Red Sea, delivering first-class service and a superb atmosphere throughout every trip. So when my 10-year-old son said he wanted to learn to dive, there was only one place I trusted, and it was the Red Sea Diving College in Sharm El Sheikh. From day one, instructor Rostum was exceptional. Teaching a child requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to build confidence, and Rostum delivered all three in abundance. He made the entire experience enjoyable, safe, and memorable for my son. Adel and the kit crew were equally outstanding, always attentive, friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. The centre is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, with construction work taking place on-site and temporary facilities in use for now. Even so, everything functions perfectly well, and it’s clear the new setup is going to be something very special once completed. I’m already looking forward to returning to see the finished result. If you’re considering diving in some of the most spectacular waters in the world, do yourself a favour and choose the Red Sea Diving College. You won’t regret it, and you will thank me for it..!!

AMAZING! RSDC are incredible. Instructors are super friendly and enthusiastic, especially Osama and Tamer! We were diving for a week in Jun’26 and visited different dive sites every day in Ras Mohammed and Tiran. The boat was very clean and well run with very helpful and friendly crew. We will be coming back!

I dived in the Red Sea for the first time in late January this year for my 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th dive, and I could not have chose a better college / diving centre to experience these magnificent reefs! Me and my friend (someone who’s never dived before) completed our first dive with Alex, an extremely passionate, warm, welcoming and overall fantastic guy, the type of person you would want to have teaching you if you’re completely new to this! Alex took us through everything which is expected when beginning to dive, from the positives (there are too many), and of course the dangers of diving, he taught us how to set up our equipment, how to look after one another if we get certified and become dive buddies, and of course the basic fundamentals when in the water. After this fantastic learning period we then went into the reef, and words can’t explain how amazing it is down there! This experience with Alex, and the college was so extraordinary I had to go again on the same trip! This time I was with Hooch, and thanks to all of Alex’s training this allowed me to do two beach dives without going over all the basics! Again Hooch, was welcoming, extremely friendly, and just like Alex, gave his own quirky perspective on diving. With Hooch, I was able to spend more time under the water, and again the reef is just amazing, leaving me wanting to come back and get my PADI, as nothing can prepare you for biodiversity you will see under there. I must note my favourite part of the whole experience, when Hooch held me right infront of an expressive thriving sea anemone with a pair of clownfish inside, despite the density of fish I saw with both Alex and Hooch, Hooch clearly saw my interest in the Red Sea clownfish from my expressions and really brought this experience to life! Now onto the college itself, the staff are phenomenal, very accommodating, passionate, welcoming and give a very safe and reassuring vibe. The equiptment is top stuff, and during my stay the college itself was being renovated. However, this did not change the vibe, it was evident that the college have a good reputation, as they have built a strong relationship with the bar which sits just infront of the beach where you will take your first steps into the Red Sea! Honestly, I cannot recommend this place enough, I am 100% coming back to do my PADI here just after the summer, I felt in just two days I had built a relationship with Hooch and Alex, and the college team. I am eager to bring my girlfriend as she is extremely interested about giving diving ago, and I know this place will look after us. Thanks again guys, and I’ll look forward to getting qualified with you! Mitch.
