dives on Nosy Be :
The dive at Nosy Be offers a great variety of sites, easily accessible for a day trip.
We offer two dives per day, with a departure at 8h00 and a return around 13h00-13h30.
The dive sites are located between 15 minutes for the closest and 50 minutes for the farthest.
The dive sites are very varied: drop-offs, plateaus, coral reefs, wrecks, without forgetting the Tanikely Marine Park.
The marine fauna is rich and diverse, ranging from sea slugs and clownfish to stonefish, rays, moray eels and sometimes even whale sharks.
There's something for everyone !

Accommodation
Stay on site :
We offer on-site accommodation in a simple and clean dormitory, mainly reserved for divers. The beds are stacked. A night's stay is offered for divers who make two dives in the morning, otherwise the rate is 40,000 AR per person and per night.
Agreements or discounts with partner accommodations :
As a diver with us, you benefit from preferential rates in several establishments located near our dive center. We work particularly with beach accommodations in Ambondrona, where the center is located (5-10 minutes by tuk-tuk, approximately €0.50 per trip during the day and €1 per night), as well as with partners on the Ambatoloaka - Madirokely beach, with a free transfer ensured by the club's boat.
We can take care of your accommodation reservations :
We can organize hotel or other accommodation reservations for our clients. We also take care of airport-hotel transfers, for a rate ranging from €20 to €50 (return), depending on the number of people.
For some hotels located further from the center, we take care of the outward transfer. The return remains the client's responsibility and must be paid directly to the driver.

Safety information :
Health : No vaccine is mandatory for Nosy Be. For the low risk of malaria, it is recommended to apply an anti-mosquito lotion and use a mosquito net.
Money / Credit card : Credit cards are often refused in shops. It is recommended to have euros in cash, preferably in large denominations (avoid 5, 10 and 20 € bills). There are several ATMs in Nosy Be.
Visa : The visa can be obtained at the airport upon arrival in Madagascar.
Scuba diving – Equipment & information : Aluminum S80 bottle (11.1 L) : one dive, DIN or Yoke connection. Steel 15 L bottles : to be reserved in advance. Fins : provide a pair of socks if the fins are a bit large. Tanikely Park : provide 40,000 AR per person if we go there, this being a marine reserve. Nitrox : strongly recommended.
Other activities offered by the center :
In addition to diving, we also offer many land and sea excursions. Among the land activities : island tour, Lokobe reserve, sunset at Mont Passot. On the islands : trips to Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Kombe, Nosy Iranja, Nosy Sakatia and Nosy Vorona. Quad trips and other varied activities according to your wishes.
Opening days and annual closure :
We are open every day, except for Christmas and New Year's Day. Our opening hours are from 7am to 7pm, and we are also available by phone.
Before your arrival, it is preferable to communicate your diving level, your equipment needs, the name of your hotel and your WhatsApp number to facilitate communication. Thank you also to indicate your total number of dives and the date of your last dive. A medical certificate is recommended (but not mandatory) and insurance is strongly recommended. Your certification card is mandatory and must be presented on the day of the dive. The appointment at the center is scheduled at 8am every day, and you can arrive 10 minutes in advance to fill out the diver's form and try out your equipment on the boat.
Cruise-bivouac to Radama, Mitsio, Iranja, Nosy Saba and Nosy Lava.
Season : January, February and March. This is the rainy season : the weather is generally fine during the day and it often rains at night. Each year, Nosy Be can experience 2 to 3 episodes of "cyclone queues", which can lead to very bad weather for a few days. ➡️ In summary : fewer divers, but more meteorological risks.
Temperature and equipment :
– May to late October : around 26°C. Recommended equipment : 5 mm wetsuit (with hood for the cold).
– November to late April : around 28-29°C. Recommended equipment : 3 mm wetsuit or shorty.

Great Experience, well operated scuba shack. Mostly French speaking but they were able to accommodate us with English. We also had an English speaking dive master. They had three boats heading out the morning we went, each boat had about 3 groups totaling 11 people. All the booking was handled online. Well fitting 3mm wetsuits and fins were already on the boat for us. BC and regulator were Mares brand. The BC was fine and a jacket type. The rental regulator could be better, the spring was tight, making breathing uncomfortable. Weights were given on the boat. Dive sites in Nosey Be are deep, we had a 93 ft 50 minute dive on the first site on Nitrox. Second site was ~55 ft and was a drift dive around 45 minutes. We paid cash in Euro for the service. Would definitely dive with them again, their is a nice looking hotel next door. Probably bring my own octo/regulator setup, mask, socks, and hood. Maybe an extra thermal layer as well. An option to pay by credit card would be a very convenient addition.
