Warm welcome to Tahiti, diversity of dive sites, quality teaching and good knowledge of fauna and flora, this is the formula for the longevity of Scubapiti.
Passionate about the marine bottoms of his native island, Henri, the manager of the club and well known in the small world of diving in Polynesia, presents his many fellow citizens with scales: starting with the lemon sharks, and the white tip reef sharks, black marauding along the reefs, or the sleeping sharks, carpeted at the bottom of the lagoon, without forgetting the turtles and the unforgettable leopard rays schools.

The explorations are done in the pass, in the lagoon or in the ocean, according to the weather conditions and the level of the divers.
He makes a point of honor to adopt an approach respectful of animals.
The briefings and debriefings are carried out with professionalism and allow divers to acquire biological notions on the local fauna and flora.

From August to early November, Scubapiti offers sea outings, in the afternoon, to observe the humpback whales.
A schedule that offers the advantage, or rather the luxury, of crossing fewer people on the water and fully enjoying the encounters with the cetaceans.
The humpback whales spend the Australian winter in the warm waters of French Polynesia.
The females arrive first for the calving safe from predators.
It is frequent to observe calves evolving above or alongside their mother.
A spectacle that is at the same time touching, magical and intense.

I had an incredible experience completing my Advanced Open Water certification with Scubapiti in Moorea, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I did one-to-one training with my instructor, Marama, who was outstanding. He took the time to go back to the basics with me and made sure I felt confident, comfortable, and fully prepared at every step. His patience and attention to detail made a huge difference in my experience. The dives themselves were unforgettable. We saw oceanic whitetip sharks, large schools of fish, and even dolphins. One of the most exhilarating moments was heading out during a storm to find the best dive sites—intense, exciting, and completely worth it. What stood out most was the balance of safety, skill, and adventure. I felt supported the entire time while still getting an experience that pushed me in the best way. If you’re looking for high-quality, personalized dive training in Moorea, I would absolutely recommend Scubapiti—especially if you have the chance to dive with Marama.

One of the best dive shops I’ve been to from booking to completion. Henri and Xavier were fun guys to be on the boat with. Henri was our guide and an amazing guy, calm and collected at all times. He made diving an absolute breeze. We went on 6 dives while here and he always knew the best spots to hit. White tip, black tip and lemon sharks a plenty. Turtles, coral and all the tropical fish you could want to see! Waking up today and not having a dive booked was a sad morning, but we went back and bought shirts to commemorate our time here with the team. The whale snorkeling tour with Marama and Pai was off the hook! Seeing the calf and mother breach was emotional to say the least. Once we had all experienced it we left the whales to relax. These guys were a bit more ethical than the other boats chasing them down longer than they needed to which we really appreciated. They topped the tour off with a drift snorkel where we saw turtles and spotted eagle rays. I wouldn’t want to have booked anywhere else. We will always remember our time here. Māuruuru roa ❤️

Above and beyond helpful I booked a dive with these folks almost 2 months ago for my dive trip of a lifetime ♥️ after two days of diving in Paptee I got on the cruise boat to dive in Moorea ( the most beautiful island) when my wrist began to swell. They canceled my dive and sent me to a wonderful local dr who felt it might be mild skin decompression and recommended not diving for a month 😭 Nice folks going beyond just business 🦈

Scubapiti was great! They were super responsive via email when I was planning my trip to Moorea. My fiancé wanted to complete his SDI open water certification dives and they were able to fit all 3 days of diving for his certification around the other activities we had planned. I also wanted a refresher dive since I hadn’t dove in nearly 3 years, and they were super helpful in making me confident again with diving. The staff is professional. My guide Henry was fantastic.
