What an experience! I’ve been on several liveaboard in my life and I must say that Supraba is a great choice. We did a Komodo cruise in July and a Raja Ampat trip in December 2025, the experience and hospitality level is felt from the start to the end. I had great communication from both Ida and Ugo by email and WhatsApp. I came with my girlfriend and they answered all of our questions prior to booking. As I’m a diver and she’s a snorkeler, we wanted to make sure they can accommodate both of us and they communicated clearly about how it would be and it was indeed better than expected. I went diving with 3 other divers (4 guests for 1 guide) and my partner went snorkeling with other guests and they had their own guide. The crew is so sweet and caring. Each of our needs were met and they really do their upmost best to always make us feel comfortable, in both cruises, they handle everything perfectly! Liveaboard experience issues like weather, normal engine noises, water visibility, … are totally common and if it’s your first time, do not over expect for these. It’s a authentic Indonesian wooden boat (Phinisi), which can crack if the weather isn’t good (which is good 90% of the time) and the crew doesn’t control weather or underwater life. If you expect luxury, perfect calm and champagne, go on a yacht, there are many options. If you want adventure, amazing food, caring crew with good hospitality, authentic boat experience, then Supraba is for you. We ate amazing food all the way, Indonesia is rich in flavors and the chefs knew how to adapt it to western needs without removing the soul of authentic Indonesian dishes. Diving was just the best! I’ve done a great deal of dives in Indonesia but the care of the guides was something, always finding what I wanted to see and always communicating properly underwater. I did join some snorkeling with my partner, you can see just as much, the visibility is incredible, sometimes you can see up to 25-30m, it’s impressive how much life there’s at 2-5m deep in both regions. Our rooms were great, we had Sadewa and Wisnu cabins, they had just everything we needed. Loved the kimono and the bathroom is more spacious than in the pictures, a great surprise. Overall, an incredible experience and we would like to come back for a Banda Sea cruise end of this year. Recommended!

We went on a three night Komodo diving tour. We were only 6 guests on board. The team was magnificent in all aspects- preparing the diving equipment, guiding, excellent food and many smiles. On the down side: The plan they made excluded Komodo island and the pink beach which was disappointing. The ship is not highly maintained (e.g , broken window in our cabin) The ship never uses sails inspite of their photo on the brochure The cruise director was mostly pleasent and accommodating but every so often would speak to the guests as if we were in the army. We were fortunate to be a small group. With more than 6 guests the boat would be too crowded (deck chairs, dining table, diving deck and so on). In summary - nice cruise as long as there are no more than 6-8 guests. However, way over priced. With that said, Komodo itself is a wonderful destination

I’m giving 3 stars. The crew was great and genuinely tried their best, but the Supraba simply isn’t suitable for a longer trip with this many people. I go on liveaboards regularly, and this was unfortunately the weakest experience I’ve had so far. The boat is extremely loud while moving, we had several nights without sleep due to engine smoke, and our cabin even leaked during rain. The toilet was only temporarily repaired and kept breaking. A sewage issue in a neighboring cabin caused a strong smell across the entire lower deck. The equipment also didn’t match what was promised — even though I requested smaller sizes for my partner in advance, there were none, so she had to borrow gear from the instructor. Reef hooks were missing as well, even though they were listed. The food was okay.., but for two days there were no soft drinks or alcohol at all. We finished those. Also they never use sails. :( To be fair, they did not charge us anything for the rental dive computer after ours broke, and that’s where the extra star comes from. Overall, the crew was fantastic, but the boat needs major improvements. I would recommend a maximum of 5 days on this boat — we did 12 days, and it’s simply too long for this vessel. Everyone on board felt the same way.

Unforgettable Komodo Adventure We just returned from an amazing 3-day cruise around Labuan Bajo and Komodo Island aboard the Supraba yacht. From start to finish, it was pure magic! Spotting wild Komodo dragons up close on island hikes was the thrill of a lifetime. Our guides kept us safe while sharing fascinating facts. Scaling the main hill in Labuan Bajo before dawn for sunrise views? Absolutely awesome. Snorkeling blew us away. Crystal-clear waters teemed with colorful coral reefs, turtles, and tropical fish. It was perfect for all skill levels.The food was outstanding: fresh seafood BBQs, Indonesian specialties, and tropical fruits. The onboard chef prepared everything daily, with seamless vegetarian options.Staff were incredibly friendly—attentive, multilingual, and always going the extra mile. Berths felt super comfortable, with cozy cabins, AC, and private bathrooms for restful nights under the stars. Book this trip—you won't regret it! 5/5 stars.
